Work Hardy, Play Hardy

Dallas Cowboys running back JaQuan Hardy and his partner Jelty finished in 2nd place at the Twitch Streamer Bowl III this week.

JaQuan Hardy is not a household name for just any casual fan of the Dallas Cowboys. For the more hardcore Cowboys fans, they may be familiar with him because he was featured on HBO’s hard knocks, because he is Ezekiel Elliott’s cousin; Or, perhaps because he was the 22nd different Dallas Cowboys player to score a touchdown this season which set a new NFL record.; Beyond that, typical Cowboys fans don’t know very much about him.;

It turns out, JaQuan Hardy has talents that extend beyond the football field and those talents were on full display at Streamer Bowl III earlier this week.  This event is a fan-fueled esports tournament from Twitch Rivals, Fortnite, and the NFL Players association.  JaQuan Hardy joined fellow NFLers such as Mike Evans, Saquon Barkley, Kyler Murray, JuJu Smith-Schuster, Christian McCaffrey, Justin Jefferson, and several others to team up with Twitch Streamers to put their gaming skills to the test in a single elimination style tournament.

JaQuan Hardy did Cowboys Nation proud as he and his partner Jelty (Team Mochis York) walked away with second prize and $175K to dontate to the charity of their choice. They were bested in the final by the pairing of pgod and Marquise Brown (Team Los Capos). Below are some video clips from the event:
