The New York Giants will host the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday from AT&T Stadium. The Cowboys took the first meeting at home 44-20 during Week 5 and outgained the Giants 515 to 367 in total yards in that victory. Last season, the Giants and Cowboys split their games, with the home team winning each time. The Cowboys took the first match-up 37-34 as a 7.5-point favorite on October 11, and the Giants won on January 3, 23-19, as a 1.5-point dog.

If the season ended today, the Cowboys would be the No. 4 seed in the NFC, but they are only one game behind the Packers, Buccaneers, and Cardinals. Last Sunday, the Cowboys covered the spread in a 27-20 win over the Washington Football team. The Cowboys had a 323 to 224 edge in total yardage advantage in the in. 433 to 379 in total yardage. Dak Prescott went 22 of 39 passing for 211 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions. On the ground, Dallas ran the ball 35 times for 122 yards. The Dallas Cowboys are in the top six in the NFL in points scored, total yards, passing yards, and rushing yards per game. Dak Prescott is having a strong season completing 67.9% of his passes with 24 touchdowns and 10 interceptions while ranking 23rd with a 45.9 QBR. Ezekiel Elliott averages 4.4 yards per carry and is leading the team with 880 rushing yards and 8 rushing touchdowns.

Defensively, the Cowboys rank 12th giving up 22.1 ppg, and are 23rd allowing 361.1 total yards per game. Cornerback Trevon Diggs has been sensational this season with an NFL best nine interceptions, and 17 pass deflections this season. Two of his interceptions have been returned for touchdowns. Micah Parsons, a rookie linebacker from Penn State, leads the team with 12 sacks. He had two sacks against the Washington Football Team last Sunday and has now recorded at least one sack in six consecutive games.

The lowly giants are 4-7 and have lost their last two games.  Giants were playing their second straight game without their usual starting quarterback Daniel Jones. Jones is expected to sit out again this Sunday with a neck injury. Mike Glennon is slated to started, so look for Micah Parsons to have a field day creating havoc in the backfield. The Giants have struggled with injures as bad as any team in the NFL this season and head into this game as a banged-up and much less talented team. Quarterback Mike Glennon has struggled since filling in for Daniel Jones, and the Cowboys defense led by Micah Parsons and Trevon Diggs will make Sunday along day for him. The Cowboys have so much more to play for, and since they will be facing a division rival on the road, I don’t expect the focus to be a problem .
Look for Dak Prescott to get on track and get his mojo back as the cowboys roll to a easy victory in this one.

Final Prediction: Dallas Cowboys 41 New York Giants 14
