DeMarcus Ware calls out Cowboys coach, leadership on Jim Rome Show.

Former Cowboys legend DeMarcus Ware calls out Dallas Cowboys coaching, leadership on The Jim Rome show.

In a recent interview on the The Jim Rome Show on CBS Sports Radio, former Cowboys legend and franchise all team leader in sacks DeMarcus Ware was asked to share his thoughts about his former team. Jim Rome inquired “What’s going through your mind when you watch them this year?” DeMarcus Ware responded and his answer was less than flattering for the current coaching staff and players. Here is his response:

In his response, DeMarcus Ware didn’t hold back any punches and specifically questioned the leadership and desire of the players, as well as the lack of direction and leadership from coaches. The former Super Bowl Champion also predicted that there will be significant changes both offensively and defensively in the offseason. DeMarcus Ware’s verdict is a harsh one. Whether this is an indictment on Mike McCarthy, Mike Nolan, or on Jerry Jones himself is something that Cowboys fans will have to decide for themselves. It is hard to argue with DeMarcus Ware here. Despite the many legitimate excuses the team has such as the short offseason and the catastrophic injuries, there is little tolerance among Cowboys fans for losing. Worse still, is that the perception that the team is giving up in the second half of games is not one that is unique to just the casual fans. Count DeMarcus Ware, a future Hall of Famer and a Super Bowl champion as one Cowboys fan who is not impressed with the product on the field.

  1. Jerry Jones need to sit his ass down somewhere and let the coaches coach. Just because he’s the owner doesn’t mean he should be the coach and the trainer and the whole shebang. If that’s the case then fire everyone and do it alone. He MESSES UP EVERYTHING. Stay in an owner’s place…Not in the coach’s place Jerry.🤬
